November 6th Blog

We have made quite a bit of progress on our game so far, mostly all of it is in the beginning screens of the game. We have learned alot too, like what each parties outlook on certain topics are. (This is also what we hope the players of the game will learn a little about). The game is coming along fine, i almost have the whole basis of level one done, but i plan on adding alot more animation and then of course the variables and the bars. I guess we should have about five different debates in this game to make it over the top, and also we need to make different delegates and different party traits. Anyway, (let me end my rambling) so far so good, and hopefully you will enjoy the final product.

  1. Brennan - I enjoyed your team presentation today. You and your team have a really cool game concept.

It reminds me of a another really cool game called Budget Hero (you can check it out here: http://marketplace.publicradio.org/features/budget_hero/ . Another one is: http://www.addictinggames.com/speeddating.html . They both show how decisions you make can effect something else.

Great job! I look forward to reading your blogs about the game-making process as well as blogs about the research you're conducting. I'm eager to see the progress that you and your team make. Keep working hard!

P.S. I like Nas too! You might want to try to find and post the edited versions of his songs (without the curse words).

    Sincerely,
    David
